A. Miriam Jaffe
A. Miriam Jaffe practices primarily in the areas of
commercial real estate and business law. She also represents
individuals in estate planning and probate matters, business succession and
residential real estate transactions. She represents clients, including
entrepreneurs and institutions, in all aspects of a broad transactional
business practice, including counseling closely held business in regard to
formation, operations and financings, and representation of investors,
developers and lenders in real estate in acquisitions, dispositions,
financings, leasing, permitting and land use, title matters, workouts,
restructurings and foreclosures. Ms. Jaffe is licensed to practice law in
Massachusetts and Rhode Island and is a member of the Real Estate Bar
Association, Rhode Island Bar Association and New England Women Business
Owners. She is member of the Board of Directors of REACH beyond Domestic
Violence, Inc. and a member of its Building Committee and a former member of
the Board of Directors of Project Joy. She is also a member of the
Watertown Chapter of Rotary. She has a B.A. from Yale University, a J. D.
from Columbia University School of Law and an LL.M. from Boston University
Law School Graduate Tax Program. Prior to becoming Of Counsel to the firm,
she was a partner at Pepe & Hazard, LLP and Lane & Altman.
